Medical Director

Dr. Dalal is a board-certified Addiction Psychiatrist and medical director of MCAP Chicago. She completes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and specializes in the assessment and treatment of dual diagnosis.

Director of Assessments

Katie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Her clinical background includes treating professionals with dual diagnoses. She is the main point of contact for participants and their referral sources and leads the multidisciplinary team throughout the evaluation process.

Medical Director

A board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. John conducts patient evaluations, co-leads a multidisciplinary team, and develops treatment recommendations based on biopsychosocial clinical formulations. He has research interests in behavioral addictions such as gaming disorders and neuromodulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Executive Director

Dominic is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He has dedicated his life’s work to evaluate, treat, and support safety sensitive workers with high accountability roles. Dominic assists the MCAP Chicago team throughout the evaluation process.

Evaluator

Dr. Langdon is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She has been an integral part of the MCAP Chicago team for over a decade and utilizes her medical expertise to complete comprehensive medical assessments for all MCAP Chicago participants.

Neuropsychological Testing

Dr. Kern is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in neuropsychological assessment. He received his doctorate degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed his postdoctoral fellowship within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.

Admissions Coordinator

Steve Otwell is an Admissions Coordinator at Positive Sobriety Institute, where he supports individuals and families as they navigate the admissions process and begin treatment. He brings a calm, thoughtful approach to guiding patients through important decisions with clarity and care. Steve’s professional background includes consulting, recruiting, and client advisory roles with both Fortune 500 organizations and boutique firms.

Office Coordinator

As the office coordinator, Sandy is the first person to welcome participants when they arrive for their evaluation. She supports individuals with their intake and throughout the evaluation process.
